TESLA: U.S. District Judge Christopher R. Wolfe of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Waco Division granted Tesla a Temporary Restraining Order and Writ of Replevin in its dispute with Angstrom Automotive (Case No. 6:26-cv-00477). The order authorizes Tesla to enter the supplier’s facility in Troy, Texas, and retrieve its own Cybertruck tooling and related equipment that Angstrom had been withholding. Tesla had sued after Angstrom announced plans to close the plant and refused to release the tooling unless Tesla paid an additional $250,000 per week. Tesla argued the equipment belonged to it and that continued withholding risked disrupting Cybertruck production. Angstrom’s Texas affiliate later filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
