Exciting #StandUpToCancer# Science News! 🔬 On October 19th, the @FDA approved a new treatment, #jemperli#, for people with #rectalcancer#. Stand Up To Cancer, with our scientific partner @AACR, is proud to have played a pivotal role in this advance by supporting the original clinical trial showing that this immunotherapy drug could eliminate tumors and help patients avoid surgery and radiation.
Congratulations to our SU2C Colorectal Cancer Dream Team, Drs. @AndreaCercek and Luis Diaz of @MSKCancerCenter, other Dream Team members, trial investigators, and @GSK on the new FDA approval.
