The biggest corporations don’t pay income taxes — it’s mostly the little guys — the little guys who are also responsible for most employment in the United States. Big corporations and private equity have been a disaster for our country and our families. They shipped our jobs and industries overseas while our government gave them every tax loophole under the sun.

For those who insist that young men who voted for Trump in ‘24 would never flip socialist, understand that many of these voters are not ideological conservatives. Yes, many of these disaffected could stay home — but a crucial margin could go left, if the left is giving lip service to family affordability. Republicans have to do more: They have to push real policies that put the American Dream back in reach, without getting distracted by donor class priorities.
