Mikey Moore had some nice moments in isolation for Köln against Hamburg yesterday. Forced a good save from range from Daniel Heuer Fernandes in the first half, then should have scored on the turn in the second.
Not bad. More to come.

Joane Gadou had a tremendous game for Dortmund in Stuttgart. He's 19, so he will have bad games and will make mistakes this season, but he looks a mighty outside centre-back in the making. What a signing.

Big, big moment for Jobe Bellingham, who squares for Maxi Beier to give Dortmund the lead in Stuttgart. Nice ball.
And nobody will score a prettier hat-trick than Michael Olise's all season. All three goals are outstanding in their own right and for different reasons.
The Brentford set-piece for their first goal last night was great. The design looks quite simple, but every part of the execution is perfect. Cross, knock-back, blocking, finish from Anthony; everyone doing their jobs.

So, that Kane record. 100 Bundesliga goals in 98 games, which is 31 matches quicker than any other player in the league’s history. Second quickest: Dieter Müller, 129 games.
Stephen Fleming is in the country.
I spoke to those who know him about what England can expect from their Test coach.

So wonderful to see Jamal Musiala score goals like that again. Not just because of the recent medical issues, but because last season was such a struggle for form and fitness for him and it’s been so long since there was fluency in his game.

Super from Jon, as always.
Today's video analysis is all about Iraola's Liverpool and why they look okay in some games and less okay in others.
We break down the issues with the press vs Fulham and show why Liverpool's attacking play has also been less than stellar.

Noahkai Banks has picked Germany over the USMNT.
He's filed for a one-time switch. It hasn't yet been confirmed by FIFA, but if/when approved, he'll play for Germany's U-21s this month, and will no longer be eligible to represent the U.S.

Borussia Dortmund’s transfer business this summer has been really strong. Big earners gone, Veerman, Karetsas, and potentially Konstantelias arriving. It’s quite the start from Ole Book.

Compelling and confounding. Cristian Romero’s legacy at Tottenham is complicated.

There will never be one truth about Cristian Romero’s time at Tottenham.
He has been a leader, a liability and a talisman. In five or 10 years, there will still be an argument about who this complex, compelling and confounding character was.
He has always inspired such conflicting emotions that nobody could ever be certain what they felt for him.
He’s Atletico Madrid’s riddle now.
