💎 Sad too.. Ruby is nowhere in the current AI stack. It's either Python, Rust, TS or Go.. I started building with PHP taking huge inspiration from Ruby and Rails Framework adopting tools like RSpec and best practices . Worked a lot with Ruby frameworks like RSpec, Cucumber etc. Then worked on building and removing Ruby tools from iOS development (Cocopods, fast-lane, etc). I have published many RubyGems and they are still there on my Github. Then moved to Swift and now Full-On Python 🐍and sometimes Rust! When I look back I feel like Ruby was inspiration to all great methodologies in the Software Development but it nowhere now in the world of Agentic AI. Soon, it doesn't mater which programming you used when ultimate goal is to produce the highly optimised binary that will be used by agents.
