Failing to renew residency permits can have devastating consequences. Families can be torn apart, loved ones detained, and their relatives left fearing for their health and safety every single day...
This is why I kept stressing how urgent this issue is. Sadly, this is the devastating reality so many Sudanese families are facing today!!!

I just saw a sadaqah donation made on behalf of Imam Tahir, a Muslim African imam who served as an imam and khatib at Jami Mosque in Toronto during the 1990s.
He was among the early leaders who helped build the foundations of the Muslim community in Canada, making it possible for generations of Muslims to practice their faith with dignity, confidence and a true sense of belonging.
