It’s been a busy and genuinely useful few weeks at Fair. I’ve spoken with founders, builders, and VCs across a range of sectors about the mechanics of raising: how they organise a process, share diligence, manage investor conversations, and find the right people to speak to. The feedback on the product has been direct and valuable. There is still plenty to build, but the shape of Fair is becoming clearer. One theme keeps coming up: fundraising strategy starts with better data. Teams need a clear view of who is relevant to their round, why they are relevant, and how to prioritise outreach. That means combining evidence of investment activity with sector, stage, geography, portfolio, and strategic value. We are building a novel investor-intelligence layer around that need: bringing observable onchain behaviour together with traditional business and investment data, so teams can build a more deliberate investor strategy before outreach begins. The aim is to save teams weeks of list-building and research, surface investors who fit the round, and bring the work of running a raise into one place from dataroom to close. Thank you to the teams using Fair privately, those now onboarding, and everyone testing the product and giving candid feedback.
