🚨 Iran’s despised police chief is warning that economic hardship, gasoline shortages, and unemployment could ignite another wave of unrest. Ahmad-Reza Radan says the “enemy” is exploiting Iran’s worsening economic conditions to create chaos and has ordered police, including cyber and public security units, to identify and confront those “inciting” people on the streets and social media. In other words, Iranians expressing anger over real economic grievances and the Islamic Republic’s failures are being treated as a security threat. This is the same Radan who has previously acknowledged security forces killing Iranians during past crackdowns. Now, as economic pressure intensifies, he is once again preparing the security apparatus for domestic unrest. Radan also warned: “The war is not over.” The message is clear: the Islamic Republic knows Iranians could return to the streets, and it is preparing for violent repression rather than addressing the conditions driving their anger.
