Abby Phillip questions if non-citizens voting in NJ is really fraud, because they may not have known they weren't supposed to vote.
This is the actual argument they've been reduced to:
Phillip: They might have cast a ballot because they just weren't aware that they were incorrectly put on the voter rolls.
Jennings: They weren't aware that they weren't a citizen of the United States?
Phillip: Is this is this accurately described as fraud when none of these people tried to register to vote?
Jennings: They cast ballots!
Phillip: Some people who are ineligible to vote are not aware that they are ineligible to vote.
So they're now going with the 'some non-citizens are too stupid to know they're not supposed to vote so if they vote it's not really fraud' defense. Incredible.
