President Xi Jinping arrives in Washington, D.C. now for a state visit to the United States and Trump. This is the visit that will decide a couple of this: 1. What happens to Iran and the Existential War in the Middle East. 2. What happens to the Ansarallah Houthis in Yemen. 3. What happens to the blockades in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandeeb. 4. What happens to Taiwan and the Asia Pacific island chains of America around China. 5. The shipping routes via Arctic near Greenland to Europe. This is essentially a meeting between a Rising Power and a Global Power and these meetings will solve or exacerbate whether we are going towards further escalation and war, or de-escalation and understanding.
