The firm whose bearish CPO paper helped tank optical stocks just launched a photonics ETF and it's holding $SIVE. Walk through what actually happened: → SemiAnalysis published a scathing piece on CPO delays and optical valuations. Optical names sold off 40-60%. → On June 30, SemiAnalysis co-launched the Tema Photonics & Optical ETF (NYSE: LAZR) — the first institutionally managed photonics ETF — in partnership with Tema ETFs. → As of July 1, that ETF holds 26,688 shares of $SIVE, bought around 48 SEK. So the same research shop that helped drive the sector down is now buying into it through an institutional product — a 24-name concentrated fund built specifically for photonics and optical exposure. I'm not going to call that anything it isn't. What I'll say is this: When you get to publish the bearish note AND launch the fund that buys the dip, that's the most enviable seat in the market. And the name they put in the fund — out of every photonics company on Earth, in a concentrated 24-holding portfolio — was $SIVE. An actively managed, SemiAnalysis-backed, institutional photonics fund looked at the entire optical universe and decided Sivers belonged in the 24. That's not retail hype. That's a research-driven institutional desk putting $SIVE in the same basket as Lumentum, Coherent, and AXT. The company keeps ending up exactly where the smartest money in the sector is looking. $SIVE $LAZR
