A non-BAYC holder may ask, “what shift exactly?” To that I answer, “a shift to putting Yacht Club first” @mfigge has been locked in on making the Club feel special again since being CEO So what’s next for the Yacht Club that may be coming in the next few weeks? A few ideas: 1️⃣ ApeFest Details Prior to Figge taking over as Yuga CEO, ApeFest was the only thing apes are looking forward to annually as part of being a BAYC member I expect them to continue this tradition, at least for this year, by giving us what we want rn: WEN AND WER APEFEST??? 2️⃣ Clubhouse Updates One of the earliest catalysts to BAYC resurgence was the Clubhouse teaser on the new BAYC website It said Coming Soon in Wynwood, Miami, FL on 2026 Since then, there has been no updates on this and I expect them to share more about this soon After all, Clubhouse is another thing members take pride of being in the club rn 3️⃣ Membership Perks There has been a lot of people asking before: “If I’m a BAYC member and I get nothing but access to an annual event that I need to fly into to enjoy, am I really getting my money’s worth for this membership?” Let’s face it. After the airdrop meta of BAYC, they struggled to define what membership means + what it can get each and every holder With Figge now shifting focus on membership, I think they may start to shift into putting value into BAYC membership more via perks and access… on a more consistent basis to give the Yacht Club name justice These are just MY ideas There may be some ideas coming from me that won’t come into fruition just yet There may likely be more things coming from them that I haven’t thought of After all, another shift Figge pushed is a shift to collecting grails over floors But overall, I like these shifts on making BAYC great again
