All said data centers are such good customers — huge, predictable, long term — that they can build more generation and distribution and pass along savings to residential consumers. 🎧 Data center firms are working more pro-actively with local communities to avoid or mitigate legitimate concerns over location, water, and noise. Elon Musk, for example, said xAI had spent millions of dollars in sound suppressing shielding, etc. 💵 More mayors and county commissioners are explaining how data centers often generate millions in extra tax revenue, helping reduce homeowner and business taxes.
