I feel like a clean way to know that AGI has been achieved would be when a model is able to go off and learn X new skill (animation, obscure crafts, game development) - optimally not in its training data And be able to then labor in that domain for years and continuously learn as good as a human could for out of distribution data

Not life-changing money yet, but it's deeply exciting to live out Sam Altman's vision for AI, where it will just go out and make money for you. It's awesome to start to see the beginning of that.
