What is the explanation for this, BTW? Is there some low-rent AI image generation app they are all using because they don't know better? We clearly have AI models that can generate realistic-looking food imagery, but a large number of restaurants aren't using them.

We’re living through a mass psychosis event where restaurant owners are somehow convincing themselves that AI food with the texture of maggots looks better than an iPhone photo printed on a sign.
