Anthropic made the right move!
Whichever organization you choose to be your third-party auditor, you *must* ensure that your independence from that organization can survive very strict scrutiny.
A time may come in the not-too-distant future when you will have to affirmatively prove your auditor's independence to the USG or to a court inquiring whether your safety practices were reasonable.
