๐น Watch 20 USDC land in a vault and get quarantined on arrival.
Not flagged. Not reviewed. Held, by default, until someone with authority says otherwise โ๏ธ
That's the point of Vaults, and our CPO Chris Sutton walks through the whole thing in under four minutes.
Vaults sit alongside Wallets on
@dfnsHQ. They are programmatic containers that give your wallets a balance sheet instead of a balance.
In the demo, Chris:
1๏ธโฃ Creates a vault with a name, an external reference, and tags, signed with a passkey
2๏ธโฃ Adds networks, one address per network: Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Base, in seconds each
3๏ธโฃ Sends USDC in from a faucet, and watches it arrive as a quarantined balance
Every vault carries three balances: ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ, ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ, and ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฑ.
Incoming funds start in quarantine. The operator runs KYT and checks them against compliance rules before approving the release with a passkey. The funds then become spendable. Your existing wallet policies still apply. Dedicated vault policies let you automatically release funds when KYT passes.
Hold first. Release when ready. Thatโs what a regulated business needs, not a raw wallet.
That's what onchain core banking is for.
