I keep thinking about why Khamenei was not moved somewhere safer, a bunker, an underground location, somewhere unreachable. But then I realise that would have been a disservice to who he was. He was martyred in his office, working like any other day, fully aware that America could strike at any moment. He did not hide when death came to claim him!
