TWAP is live on edgeX
TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) is an algorithmic trading strategy.
When a user submits a large order, the system automatically splits it into multiple smaller sub-orders based on the set total duration and order frequency, executing them continuously within the specified period until the order is fully filled, the strategy ends, or the user manually terminates it.
The goal of TWAP is to minimize market impact while achieving an average execution price that approximates the time-weighted average price over the strategy's execution period.
