Gabriel Chua(@gabrielchua):/side in the Codex app is one great way to steer long-running tasks in Codex. With it, I can check in on Codex from the side thread, ask clarifying questions, give it pointers, or help unblock it. I usually ask Codex to summarise what’s done, what’s not yet done, and whether there’s anything I can help unblock (e.g. via clickops). Then I can ask the side thread to send these updated or sharpened instructions back to the main thread. P.S. You can also ask Codex to create custom HTML dashboards for these updates - or send them to you by Slack DM or email! 👀
