The internet runs on a pretty strange assumption: it can move money, execute code and connect billions of people, but if something goes wrong, a company, lawyer or court has to sort it out. GenLayer started with a simple question: what would the internet look like if dispute resolution was actually native to it?

One Sunday night. Someone else had lost the keys to $150 million, and it wasn't even their mistake. By the time the lawsuits ended they had learned what justice actually costs, and they had $14,000 left in the account. GenLayer starts there. Genesis, Episode 1.

Jokes aside, our video is a fair picture of what's being built right now: everyone designs for the deal going through. Almost nobody covers the moment two agents disagree over whether the work was done, which is the part code can't settle. That's where GenLayer comes in.

We put six founders in front of three investors and asked them to pitch the agentic economy. It went about as well as you'd expect. Five of them are missing the same thing. Welcome to Agent Tank.

can we make @GenLayer 100% secure? not literally. but we can get as close as possible - and the first layer of defense is the architecture itself: designing the system to make entire classes of bugs impossible i wrote about how the genlayer consensus contracts, validator node, and genvm fit together; how we isolate LLM calls and web requests while keeping the rest of contract execution deterministic; and how that lets us do things like run a full cpython interpreter onchain inside a WASM sandbox this is part 1 of a series on how we make genlayer as secure as we possibly can. in future posts, i’ll get into the testing and validation layers we add on top - including what we’ve learned about using AI agents to design better tests, rather than just vaguely hunt for bugs

Builder points and community points have lived apart. Sunday night they become one.
You can put "the front end has to use React" in a smart contract. But you can't put "and it has to be nicely designed". @EdgarsNemse, our CPO, on where deterministic code ends and judgment begins.
