The internet runs on a pretty strange assumption: it can move money, execute code and connect billions of people, but if something goes wrong, a company, lawyer or court has to sort it out. GenLayer started with a simple question: what would the internet look like if dispute resolution was actually native to it?

One Sunday night. Someone else had lost the keys to $150 million, and it wasn't even their mistake. By the time the lawsuits ended they had learned what justice actually costs, and they had $14,000 left in the account. GenLayer starts there. Genesis, Episode 1.
