The school expelled a 14-year-old boy for cheating in an exam.
There was only one problem.
He had scored โ0%.โ
The teachers insisted he had helped someone else cheat.
His classmates avoided him.
Parents demanded he be removed permanently.
The boy didn't cry.
He only asked the principal one question.
"Can I see the exam papers?"
The request was denied.
The police arrested a taxi driver for kidnapping... because a six-year-old girl refused to leave his car.
She was crying.
Holding onto his arm.
Screaming,
"Don't let them take me!"
People gathered around the taxi.
Someone called the police.
Within minutes, the driver was in handcuffs.
It looked like an open-and-shut case.
I found a hotel receipt in my husband's jacket pocket.
The date was from the week he'd told me he was at a business conference.
I didn't confront him.
Instead, I put the receipt back exactly where I'd found it.
Two days later, he left for work.
I called the hotel.
The receptionist confirmed the reservation.
Then she said something that made my heart stop.
"Yes, Mr Daniel stayed here."
I asked if he stayed alone.
She hesitated.
"I shouldn't say..."
I told her I was his wife.
After a long silence, she sighed.
"He checked in with a woman."
My hands started shaking.
I thanked her and hung up.
That night, I pretended nothing had happened.
Instead, I waited.
