Around August 12, six planets (Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Saturn, Neptune) appear in the pre-dawn sky in a broad arc. Best window is 30-60 minutes before sunrise with a clear eastern horizon. Mars and Saturn are easiest naked-eye; Uranus needs binoculars, Neptune a telescope. Also peaks Perseids that night.
