When Jensen said $MRVL would be "the next trillion-dollar company" it was trading at $205 (~$180 Billion market cap). It quickly shot up more than 50% reaching over $316/share.
Now it's at $187.
Marvel is a fast-growing and impressive business, but with annual revenues shy of $10 Billion (TTM), and a forward PE of 47, such a company would still need many years of growth before it could justify a $1 Trillion valuation.
For comparison, $MU has more than 10x the revenue and a forward PE of just 6 and it's STILL trading at under $1 Trillion market cap!
