I don’t know why people still think Olamide is “local” when the man has been doing real work behind the scenes for years. Just like Wizkid, Olamide doesn’t need to stress himself or prove anything to anybody. As long as his people are enjoying his music and his impact is still felt, he’s good. Just think about it someone who helped turn artists like Fireboy DML, Asake, Adekunle Gold and other talents into global stars definitely knows what he’s doing. Do you really think Olamide can’t do the same for himself if he wants to? Dey play. Olamide is not chasing validation or trying to convince people that he’s a legend. His work, influence and the artists he has built already speak for him. That’s what a real legend looks like
