Despite his 2014 cocaine trafficking conviction and a 2018 final removal order, Cuban illegal alien Pedro Fernandez thought he’d casually catch a flight from Florida to Chicago.
ICE and its Florida TSA and Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office partners thought differently.
They teamed up to arrest him in a targeted immigration enforcement operation at Palm Beach International Airport May 7, and he’ll soon be deported.
This morning, I was on the ground with the men and women of @icegov law enforcement in Virginia.
We arrested a criminal illegal, removed multiple times from our country, whose rap sheet includes drug possession and driving under the influence.
Governor Spanberger’s sanctuary policies have made Virginia a magnet for criminal illegal aliens.
🔎Fredis Antonio Gonzalez-Recinos had a green card, but threw it away by sexually abusing a child younger than 13 when he was over 21-years-old. He pleaded guilty in Suffolk County, N.Y., of the crime last year and was sentenced to 10 years probation.
🚨ICE Fugitive Operations officers arrested him May 8 near his last known residence in Mastic, N.Y., during a targeted immigration enforcement operation.
Victor Figueiredo De Araujo, of Brazil, served time for robbery and conspiracy in Philadelphia, but local officials there refused to honor an immigration detainer. They released him from incarceration back into the community.
⚖️He has a final removal order, so ICE will deport him to his home nation.

“No family should have to bury their child like this. Stephanie’s life mattered, her voice mattered, her future mattered…her life was taken in a way that should have never happened.” —Cheryl Minter, mother of Stephanie Minter
This is why we fight.
Mexican-born lawful permanent resident Miguel Angel Rodriguez-Ramirez was sentenced to 14 years in prison for continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14-years-old in Redwood City, Calif.
We arrested the child predator at-large May 4 in a targeted operation, and he’ll remain in ICE custody to face an immigration judge’s deportation decision later this month.
Law enforcement officials worked together to get Wualter Jesus Travieso Soto, 30, from Texas to Montana, where he faces charges for allegedly raping a child in his care multiple times.
🔎Travieso is an illegal alien from Venezuela, so ICE issued a detainer against him.
ICE officers will work with Montana officials to ensure he ends up in ICE custody instead of back in the community after justice is served on this case.
Thank you, @ICEgov. ⬇️

“I take it with tremendous pride. And I’m willing to stand beside you and stand in front of you and defend you every single day.” 🇺🇸 #PoliceWeek#
Victor Reyes-Hernandez, of Guatemala, is in the country illegally, and ICE has lodged an immigration detainer against him with the Pulaski County Jail.

Today, we honored the @ICEgov law enforcement personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Together, we remembered their courage and sacrifice, and prayed for the families of these fallen heroes.
Our 22,000 ICE personnel have continued to put the American people first through government shutdowns and a more than 1,300% increase in assaults on our officers.
To our ICE personnel— thank you for enforcing the laws Congress passed and getting dangerous illegals aliens off our streets. We have your back.
Sanctuary politicians are choosing criminal illegal aliens over public safety by denying undercover license plates and access to driver and vehicle registration information for ICE and CBP.
This reckless policy choice impacts our efforts to investigate cases including:
• Child exploitation
• Rape & kidnapping
• Drug and weapons trafficking
• Sex and forced labor trafficking
• Transnational criminal organizations
Thank you @TheJusticeDept for taking action.
Pakistani national Abbas Ali Haider appeared in court for the first time after being extradited from Mexico.
He’s charged with conspiring to smuggle Pakistani nationals into the United States using sham film production companies as his front.
The companies fraudulently sponsored work visas for aliens while charging them up to $40,000 for the fraud sponsorship and customs coaching.
Know the truth about human smuggling:
• It’s often a serious national security risk, allowing potential terrorists into our country.
• It’s a dangerous vehicle for sex and labor trafficking.
• ️Smugglers usually have no concern for the safety and lives of those they sneak in.
ICE special agents led this investigation with help from ICE officers, CBP and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. Mexican authorities arrested Haider in January and extradited him this month at the U.S. Justice Department’s request.
