Lincoln HS in SF has a lot of problems with a gang of teens assaulting & threatening other kids - I was in police station when a Lincoln mom was filing out a police report to protect her teen from death threats. She’s already had to change schools for her other kids due to gang violence and threats. These violent kids need to be removed from the school so the other 99% of the student body can get a real education without violence or harassment. Maria Su & BOE does nothing impactful about this ongoing problem.

CA lost net 2.8M people since 2010, while CA K-12 enrollment declined. Yet Cal Poly “CA” freshman applications surged 30k → 63k & SDSU: 46k → 85k, Only 10% are out of state or overseas applicants. So where did ~25 to 30k “CA” college applicants come from?!? If they are mostly illegals, how are the colleges paying for them?! College tuition is 4x higher than in 2000, exceeding 100k. U of WA is being sued by Stanley Zhong’s family for race-based admissions and discrimination. He had a 4.4 weighted GPA & 1590 SAT. He like many other legal residents worked hard, paid taxes and were denied admissions. Why? According to Liberal Ethnic Studies, bc privilege needs to be dismantled eg “citizenship”, Whites & White-Adjacent groups eg Asians - deserve to be discriminated against bc America is racist & oppressive. This is being taught in schools throughout America & mandated on 14yr olds at sfusd. It’s not only anti-American, it’s illegal. College admissions across US have been captured by this brain rot indoctrination & funding must cease at these schools until they are in full compliance. Criminal charges need to be filed against bad actors.

berkeley calculus professor says in 2023 1/3 class didn’t come to class; out of total of 1200-1400 student class; she redesigned syllabus just for participation & lowered cutoffs - in retrospect she says it’s mistake to lower standards; that’s 400 students that took a spots from thousands of truly qualified stem students from schools like Lowell, Dougherty, etc. 🧵

95% of Mission high school students did not meet CA math standards, yet they are taking top spots at all the UCs ie Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, etc., while Lowell students (71% met math standards) are only competitive w/ Mission students at UCSB, Merced, Riverside or Santa Cruz. UCs punish Lowell students for working hard bc of their race, while setting up Mission kids up for failure & depression. Race-based admissions fails all kids & was deemed unconstitutional by Scotus - it must end. So where do the students actually end up going... 🧵

UCs abandoned SATs to pursue DEI & it has failed all students. Yes bring back SAT, but you don’t need a SAT score to see students’ math track transcript has no precalculus or calculus classes. Dougherty Valley HS is ~80% Asian, Lowell is ~52% Asian & Mission is ~72% Hispanic. Lowell is ~43% socioeconomically disadvantaged vs 59% Mission vs 9% Dougherty. Lowell had 14% admission to Berkeley. Thousands of hardworking kids are being rejected by top UCs bc of their race - it’s wrong & must end. “One student — I’ll call him Elias — was admitted to a top University of California engineering program. His family was thrilled though surprised. Math had been his weakest subject in high school, but they assumed the university had seen something they hadn’t.” “Another student — Nadia — watched rejection after rejection arrive from UC campuses. One turned her down even though she had earned A’s there in Calculus II and other college-level STEM courses through concurrent enrollment.” “Two real Bay Area high schools put numbers to this pattern. At Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, 432 of 756 juniors exceeded California’s math standard in 2024, as measured by SBAC. Of the school’s 542 Berkeley applicants that fall, 44 were admitted — an acceptance rate of 8%.” “At Mission High School in San Francisco, 193 of 202 juniors did not meet the state math standard. Yet Berkeley admitted 34 of the school’s 76 applicants — a 45% acceptance rate. Based on those figures, at least 174 Dougherty Valley students who exceeded the state benchmark were rejected, and a student with Nadia’s academic record would have been among them.”
