The suspect first stabbed an Asian man in the back with a knife, then in a separate incident stabbed a Jewish man with a screwdriver. Note how Harris Faulkner does not report the fact an Asian man was first targeted, as that may suggest "anti-Semitism" was not the driving force of the attack, let alone Mamdani's criticism of Israel.
