Sharing this on my page since I totally forgot! On the topic of ADAS sensors, almost every expert I talk to tells me that Radar, LiDAR, and maybe ultrasonic redundancy is needed for poor weather conditions
Now, I’m not saying what we experienced in this video is the *worst* possible driving condition, but the car handled everything totally fine with strong rain
What’s your take on sensors? More the merrier or does it create more chance for false positives when you’re not sure which sensor to trust 🧐
