Tesla Semi Battery Pack
4680 form factor cells arranged into a collection of bricks, modules, and sub-packs
14 modules per sub-pack and 8 bandolier per module
2 sub-packs for the Semi standard range and 3 sub-packs for the long range
Power electronics/PCS etc built into each sub pack all joined together in that HV Junction box just southwest of the MCS inlet
I’ve heard 1.2MW charging and holds it flat to 80%? Heard just over 40min 5-80%. Not sure… need to charge one.

Modern Cybertruck charging has actually gotten measurably better.
Tesla’s 4680 is still not a huge power-dense fast charger but it’s better than the early trucks and it’s also their most durable cell.
Seems to nearly match LFP for capacity fade (just my anecdotal impression)

It’s 88 cells in series, 6P, so ~325V nominal
So it’s just about 50kWh based on those numbers - I think the actual pack size is in the EPA docs (make sure to look at usage and not recharge energy)

However, it's still needing a final round of quality + software improvements to make it 100% recommendable... which isn't great coming from a brand known for dependability.

They are now one of the most supportive brands!
From parts to technical manuals and theory of operations + reasonably priced remote diagnostic software - almost no other brand makes it as easy as Tesla to work on your own car
