👀 As soon as Trump left, the CCP started playing the "balancing" game again. Xinhua News Agency hurriedly pinned a top headline on its front page: “Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin Send Congratulatory Messages to the 10th China-Russia Expo Respectively.” When you click in, there’s only one sentence: “Xinhua Flash: On May 17, President Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin sent congratulatory messages to the 10th China-Russia Expo respectively.” When the spokesperson for the CCP’s Ministry of Commerce answered questions about the outcomes of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultations, he listed five results: 1. Both sides will continue to implement the outcomes of previous consultations and have reached a positive consensus on relevant tariff arrangements. *(My two cents: This is basically meaningless boilerplate.) 2. Both sides agreed to establish a Trade Council and an Investment Council to discuss each side’s respective concerns in the fields of trade and investment. Through the Trade Council, they will discuss issues such as tariff reductions on certain products and have in principle agreed to reduce tariffs on products of equivalent scale that each side is concerned about. (Comment: Too vague, too general, lacks details.) 3. Both sides will resolve or substantially promote the resolution of certain non-tariff barriers and market access issues for agricultural products. The U.S. side will actively promote the resolution of China’s long-standing concerns regarding automatic detention of dairy and aquatic products, medium-sized potted landscape plants exported to the U.S., and the recognition of Shandong as a poultry influenza-free zone, etc. The Chinese side will also actively promote the resolution of U.S. concerns such as beef facility registration and poultry meat exports from certain states to China. (Comment: Still lacks details. Basically, it means China is going to buy more U.S. beef and poultry?) 4. Both sides agreed to promote the expansion of two-way trade in areas including agricultural products through mutual tariff reductions on a certain range of products and other arrangements. (Too vague, too general, lacks details, and overlaps with the previous two points.) 5. Both sides have reached arrangements regarding China’s purchase of aircraft from the U.S. and the U.S. ensuring the supply of aircraft engines and parts to China, and agreed to continue advancing cooperation in related fields. (China will purchase aircraft from the U.S.) So overall, it boils down to this: China will buy some American planes, and that’s about it. Nothing else of substance. Also: When Xi Jinping accompanied President Trump in reviewing the CCP’s military honor guard, Trump solemnly returned the military salute, while Xi showed no reaction at all. Some people joked: “If you didn’t know better, you’d think Trump was the commander-in-chief of the PLA.” And honestly, it really did look that way. On one hand, it reflects Xi Jinping’s arrogance toward his own military. He simply does not show the kind of respect for service members that Trump does. On the other hand, perhaps after previously embarrassing himself by saluting troops with his left hand during an inspection, he no longer dares—or no longer wants—to give military salutes.

The New York Post @nypost says that Melania @FLOTUS did not accompany Trump to China because she wanted to focus on promoting children’s charity projects in the United States. Do you believe that? I don’t. During Trump’s visit to China this time, both sides appeared very friendly on the surface, but secretly they were wary of and competing with each other. Xi Jinping’s wife, Peng Liyuan, did not appear even once. In contrast, when Belarusian President Lukashenko visited China in June 2025, although he also did not bring his wife, Xi Jinping not only had Peng Liyuan come out to receive him, but even had his daughter Xi Mingze appear to accompany them. Therefore, this Trump-Xi meeting was mostly about surface-level pomp and show; there wasn’t much substantive content. To Xi Jinping, he gained a little more legitimacy, and that is it.

Although Xi Jinping does appear quite tall, apparently no one dares to tell him that he should unbutton his suit jacket when sitting down…
As far as I know, Trump is 12 cm (4.7 inches) taller than Xi Jinping. Why does he look shorter when they sit down? This is how “confident” Xi Jinping is.
Glad he is back safely. I did have concerns before he left.
Thank you for standing up against the CCP’s infiltration. There could be many more Eileen Wang in our country.
For months I have been going to Arcadia City Council meetings, reading from Mike Sun's complaint. The complaint contained phone calls, emails, wechat conversations with PRC officials, Mike Sun and Eileen Wang. It clearly stated that Mayor Eileen Wang was very involved in taking orders from CCP event after her election, the contact and orders by PRC did not stop. I went to council to list some of the things Eileen did while she began her role as a council member. The city did nothing to address these concerns. By the time she became Mayor, her fiancé Sun, had already been sentenced therefore she had DIRECT ties to CCP. She was sleeping with one. City and men on council ignored this little detail and continued to elevate her. Basically they finished the job that Sun was directed to do by PRC, elevate Wang to higher status, like becoming Mayor. Here is just one speech I made asking Wang to resign and council to take action. @KTLA @libsoftiktok @Lily4Liberty @jenniferzeng97 @CBSLATom @latimes @CA_Insider

A couple of days ago, Mr. Cai Shenkun @cskun1989 asked about why the Chinese translator—who failed to keep up with Xi Jinping at the BRICS summit in South Africa, got blocked by security, and left Xi standing alone and looking lost (repeatedly turning back to search for him in front of other world leaders)—hasn’t been fired yet (Anyone still remembers that eposide? ). I replied: “It’s not easy to train a good translator.” After seeing this photo posted by @EricTrump, I suddenly realized there might be another reason: it’s also not easy to find such a short translator to make Xi Jinping look “tall and imposing” by contrast, either. Just look at the little tricks Xi used this time to appear as tall as Trump—or even taller than him. It shows just how important height is as a factor. What do you think?

Thank you, Senator Cruz @SenTedCruz, for your consistent support. I sincerely hope the Falun Gong and Victims of Forced Organ Harvesting Protection Act will be passed by the Senate and signed into law. Please also ask your senator to vote Yes on this bill so it can become law. This legislation will save thousands — or perhaps millions — of lives.

This week, we mark and remember the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party, including its indescribably evil program of state-sponsored organ harvesting. I've introduced the Falun Gong and Victims of Forced Organ Harvesting Protection Act, and I'm working with my colleagues to advance it. The U.S. should remain committed to countering these human rights violations and ensuring the CCP is held accountable.

Someone told me what Trump checked is the White House's own menu; not a single bite of Chinese food was eaten at the banquet. In this case, the previous saying that even Trump’s bath water was transported from the US might be true. I heard over 500 tons of materials were shipped from the United States to China before Trump’s visit. That’s 3 times more than his last visit. This is how much the US trusts the CCP now. Almost zero.

🫣This video is going viral on Chinese social media. Everyone is saying that while Xi Jinping was away, Trump seized the chance to sneak a peek at his “little notebook.” Rubio saw it and quickly turned his head, pretending not to notice. But I think Trump was just looking at the menu. What do you think?

Why can Trump enjoy treatment that no other head of state has ever received—directly entering Zhongnanhai, the mysterious core of Chinese power? Just read my article from April 27 below and you’ll understand. The CCP has a special team dedicated to studying Trump’s psychology, and every arrangement is tailored to cater to his preferences. Trump clearly enjoys this special treatment as well. I just want to say: Never underestimate the evil of the CCP. There is no such thing as a free lunch. The United States has no need to extend the CCP’s lifespan.

🤣Hilarious! Someone caught @elonmusk sneaking food at the state banquet in Beijing— and he was grabbing it with his fingers... Can anyone tell me what dish that was? It made the richest man in the world crave it that badly?

Meanwhile, Musk @elonmusk seemed extremely popular at the state banquet, with people constantly approaching him for photos — including Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, which makes Xiaomi EVs and smartphones. At every Xiaomi car launch event, Lei Jun never stops comparing his cars to Tesla’s Model Y. This time, he finally got to meet the idol he has long admired. He immediately walked over to ask for a selfie together (around the 5-second mark in the video). Unfortunately, judging from Musk’s expression, he seemed not to recognize Lei Jun at all — and appeared somewhat impatient with these endless “Chinese counterparts” coming over one after another asking for photos. While taking the selfie with Lei Jun, Musk made a lot of faces, and after that, Musk did not engage in any conversation. He simply started softly whistling, picked up his phone, and went right back to posting on X. Based on the timing, that was probably the exact moment he replied to “Teacher Li Is Not Your Teacher” @whyyoutouzhele!

Neighbors of SoCal mayor who worked as secret agent for China reveal her secret double-life This is what the neighbors of Eileen Wang, the disgraced CCP agent and former Arcadia mayor, told @nypost about here: “She tends to keep to herself,” neighbor David Zhang, 28, told The Post. “The most we see of her is when she’s walking her big Husky around. We don’t really see her outside so we’re not too familiar with her personal situation. We wave at each other but that is the limit of our interaction. Sometimes she has a man over and we hear a bit of yelling and arguing that sounds like a domestic dispute.” Another neighbor, Paul Brink, 86, recalled Wang canvassing door-to-door during her early political rise. “She came door to door giving out her brochure,” Brink told The Post. “She was a regular candidate introducing herself and saying she was a neighbor running for council.” He described her as a “nice dressed lady,” but declined to say whether he voted for her. A next-door neighbor, who declined to provide his last name, said Wang rarely interacted with anyone nearby. “When I see her it is just ‘hi’ and ‘bye’ when she is passing,” he said. “I see a guy coming by but I do not know if he lives there. I do not get into politics at all. Usually I just watch Netflix and YouTube. I do not watch the regular news.” Full report: Below is my report exposing her 15 months ago! Also: These photos were snapped by the New York Post yesterday. She had just stepped out of her car when reporters caught her off guard. In the photo caption, the New York Post bluntly referred to her as “Chinese spy Eileen Wang.”

Unverified information circulating on Chinese-language social media, for reference only: Key outcomes from the May 14 U.S.-China talks in Beijing — substantive policies already finalized and about to be implemented (officially confirmed, not just slogans) The measures fall into two categories: policies agreed on and executable immediately, and detailed implementation rules to be rolled out within the next one to two months. Previous consensus measures have also been extended and upgraded during this round of talks. All of these are hard policies that will immediately affect businesses, imports and exports, technology, and travel. I. Trade and Tariffs (Most Direct and Fastest to Take Effect) Tariff truce extended and optimized The U.S. side has officially confirmed: Permanent removal of the 10% fentanyl-related tariffs on Chinese goods; Suspension of the 24% punitive tariffs on China extended for another 18 months (previously extended for only one year; this round lengthens the suspension directly). China’s reciprocal measures: Removal of the additional 10%–15% tariffs on U.S. agricultural products including soybeans, corn, beef, pork, and wheat; Only a very small category of strategic goods will retain a 10% tariff, while all others return to normal tariff rates. Establishment of a permanent U.S.-China Economic and Trade Committee and an Investment Review Committee, so that future frictions will be handled through institutional negotiations rather than temporary tariffs or ad hoc Section 301 investigations. The U.S. side will suspend Section 301 investigations into China’s shipbuilding, logistics, and maritime sectors for 18 months; China will simultaneously remove retaliatory tariffs on ships. II. Technology and Export Controls (Major Substantive Easing) The U.S. side will suspend the 50% penetration-based chip export control rules for 18 months (previously suspended for only one year), allowing normal trade with China in mid-range chips and equipment. China will suspend reciprocal export controls on rare earths and critical minerals for 18 months, resuming normal global supply. Both sides agreed not to arbitrarily expand entity lists or blacklist companies, and to establish channels for companies to appeal individual cases. Restrictions on a number of sanctioned Chinese and American firms will gradually be lifted. III. Immediate Policies on People-to-People Exchanges, Visas, and Tourism Restoration of five-year multiple-entry business and tourist visas for both sides, with the cancellation of additional entry reviews previously imposed. Expansion of direct China-U.S. flights, with the number of weekly flights set to double starting in June. Restart of green channels for international students and academic exchanges, including eased restrictions on science and engineering students. IV. Law Enforcement and Global Cooperation Arrangements The U.S. and China will restart joint anti-drug enforcement mechanisms, with the U.S. cooperating on fentanyl tracing and China cooperating on chemical controls. The two militaries will restore crisis communication hotlines to prevent military miscalculations in the South China Sea and Taiwan Strait (a substantive security policy measure). V. How This Round of Talks Differs from Previous Ones The Busan meeting produced only a one-year temporary truce, while the Beijing talks have now upgraded this into an 18-month stability policy plus a three-year strategic framework. Trade teams reportedly signed written implementation memoranda yesterday, meaning these are not merely verbal commitments. The finance and commerce ministries of both countries will issue formal implementation documents directly. All policies are expected to be officially announced and take effect gradually from late May through early June. VI. Areas Not Relaxed (Bottom Lines Unchanged) High-end AI chips, advanced lithography machines, and military-related technologies remain under strict controls. On the Taiwan issue, the U.S. side only reiterated the One China policy, with no additional concessions.
