but it didn't just bring money to Bitcoin. It came with strings attached.
bitcoin today reacts more to liquidity cycles than ideology. when risk assets sell off, bitcoin:native often gets dragged along with them.
as @anndylian put it:
"the day people buy Bitcoin because they're afraid dollars won't buy food anymore, that's the day the correlation breaks permanently."
maybe the real test of the "digital gold" thesis only begins when faith in fiat itself starts to crack
