BlackRock CEO Larry Fink told CBS he has reassessed Bitcoin, calling crypto “an alternative asset like gold.” Fink said Bitcoin is “not a bad asset” but shouldn’t take a large share of portfolios. He earlier noted that about half of BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF demand came from retail investors, 75% of whom had never owned an iShares product before.
