Donald Trump is watching TV this morning and saw numbers which dealt a severe blow to his ego. This generated a bout of narcissistic rage directed at the source of his injury: “THE CROOKED MEDIA.” His solution to all painful information is to destroy it. So he snaps his fingers and mentally eliminates it. The fact that he actually dictated “FCC TO THE RESCUE” to Natalie Harp is a symptom of his cognitive and narcissistic collapse. He has no ability to recognize that he’s confessing to crimes, or that this might in any way backfire. He is psychotic—not as a pejorative, as a real description of his mental state. He lives in an alternate reality that cannot coexist with the real world. His post is the storm front between his delusions and objective reality.
