Living From, Not For What changes when you stop trying to become someone and start living as who you already are? That single shift has reshaped my faith more than almost anything else. The Bible says followers of Jesus are “chosen,” “adopted,” and “a chosen people… God’s special possession.” These aren’t goals to achieve. They’re realities to step into. Paul tells the Colossians, “Set your hearts on things above… For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” In other words: build your daily life on who you now are in Christ, not on who you’re scared you still might be. Living from your identity changes the small things. You forgive more freely, because you’ve been forgiven. You take risks for God, because your worth isn’t on the line. You serve, not to be accepted, but because you already are. Over these five days we’ve seen it: new, free, loved, righteous, chosen. None of it earned. All of it given. So here’s the invitation. Stop performing for an identity you already have. Start living from it. You are who God says you are. Let that be the ground you stand on today and every day after.
