Prediction: the
@shadcn registry becomes the standard way AI agents get UI components.
Think about what an agent needs: readable open code, semantic tokens it can re-theme, one CLI command to install, a JSON index it can search.
The registry already does all four. My agent installs blocks, styles and even its own skills from one namespace, mid-build, without me touching anything.
