Rebranding what we do as a “startup competition” risks attracting people chasing metas or larping as startup founders. Even though Colosseum is structurally different from a traditional hackathon, we've found "Hackathon” attracts builders chasing what genuinely interests them. And I believe that’s where the outliers come from.
