Ran some on-chain monitoring recently thanks to @ASvanevik 's @nansen_ai.
I was shocked.
The same query two years ago would bug out.
Now it traces funds across multiple hops and chains, and clusters addresses into likely counterparty connections.
While it’s incredible to be able to trace everything, one of the biggest concerns adopters have is privacy.
Banks don’t open source their entire ledger. Do you want someone to see every $5 coffee transaction?
The better the tracking gets, the more privacy becomes the concern.
Is there anything solving this right now that doesn’t fall over on the compliance side?
