NEWS: Senator Chuck Grassley just released a 2025 FBI email that pushed to criminally investigate Elon Musk. Grassley made the email public on September 15, at an FBI oversight hearing with Director Kash Patel. The email is old. Kevin Gounaud, then an FBI agent at the Washington Field Office and now a former agent, wrote it on February 22, 2025, the same day the DOGE "list five things you did this week" request went out. In it, Gounaud recommended a criminal case against the OPM official who approved that email, "in conspiracy with Elon Musk." He claimed it wasted official time and pushed employees to break security rules. He also claimed Elon Musk profited from it and compared his use of X to Hillary Clinton's private email server. He offered to write the case and find a prosecutor. He ended with, "And no, I'm not kidding." The events are from early 2025.
