So I implemented a custom firmware that runs A REAL snake game on the working half's backlight that I can control from the other half :D It is a real game engine with random food points and increasing tick rate. The whole game is just about 1.2kb in binary and works entirely on the 8-bit board back to back with the standard programmable firmware.
