not a huge deal but one downside now is that without an internet connection you can't view the videos on your sentry drive
with tesla dashcam encryption each video file is encrypted with a unique key associated with your account
and while tesla has access to the decryption key they do not have access to the files
only you can access the decrypted videos
physical access to your drive is not enough
