Agree. Future of transportation is personalized. People may romanticize busses, but will pick a private autonomous driver every time if price is right.
Still need to build more tunnels in cities though!

My transit loving friends are going to hate me for this.
It make NO SENSE WHATSOEVER to build virtually any sort of mass transit ever again.
By the time its built (a decade, or in California a century) the advances in electric self driving cars make it obsolete.
