sitting in cnj coffee in forest city this morning. bread baked daily, staff dressed sharp, coffee done right. someone clearly loves this place. my wife and half my friends say the same thing: after the grind, one day, a cafe. and here i am, inside someone's version of that dream.
dave chappelle says you have to be wise enough to know when you're living your own dream, and humble enough to accept when you're part of someone else's.
the last 2 years i've been part of a school someone built straight out of his own book. i kept calling it my dream. it's his. and it's a good one to be inside, same way this cafe is hers.
being part of a good dream isn't a small thing. but you should know whose it is. whose dream are you living in right now?
