was sitting in the cafe today just watching the girls walk by…and you can always tell which ones are truly resting in their feminine nature and which ones are putting on this hardened, exhausted
shell just to survive the day.
Women were not built to carry the weight of the world on our
shoulders,
we were built to be a soft, receiving vessel for a man who can actually hold the space for us.
It is so deeply ingrained in our psychology to surrender, but when there is no one strong enough to surrender to, we twist ourselves into these anxious, controlling versions of ourselves just to feel safe.
I catch myself doing it too…clenching my jaw, trying to manage everything, refusing to let go. And I wonder where all the men went who used to make a woman feel small in the best way possible.
Not diminished or erased, but protected. Held.
There is an immense power in genuine submission, but it requires a masculinity that is almost impossible to find now.
Most men flinch the second you actually need them, and so we keep walking around with our armor on, pretending we don’t desperately want to take it off
women who say they don’t need to be protected have just never been protected properly..once you experience real safety you realize how exhausting pretending to be fine alone actually is
