The road with Hajimi has never been easy. Especially in a cycle this PvP-heavy, where smart money can make tens of thousands of dollars in a matter of minutes. Compared with that, spending months—or even a year—building around one Meme can feel almost irrational. When Hajimi was at its lowest, I questioned myself too. I wondered if I was putting my time into something that was destined to fail. I wondered whether this market still had room for a Meme that needed patience, conviction, and people willing to keep building when nobody was paying attention. But the longer this journey has gone on, the more convinced I’ve become that my original read was right. More people stayed. More people joined. And meanwhile, Hajimi never stopped growing on Web2. New songs, memes, stickers, videos and remixes kept showing up. Then came real-world restaurants, products, and more Hajimi-related content than I could have imagined when this started. That’s why I keep calling Hajimi the “Doge of the East.” Not because they’re both animal Memes, and not because it sounds good. It’s because Hajimi has something every great Meme needs: It can react to the moment, absorb whatever is happening around it, and keep reinventing itself. Web2 keeps giving Hajimi fresh attention, new stories and endless material to work with. And on Web3, the community has done its part too. We’ve made memes, GIFs, songs and videos. We even sent a Hajimi plush to the edge of space. At this point, it doesn’t feel like we’re just holding a token and waiting for the chart to go up. It feels like we’re helping a Meme keep growing. And now, at what I believe is the beginning of a bull market, this is exactly when I want to lean in. I’m still betting on Hajimi.
