Children’s sense of smell is incredibly sharp, so they can even detect the slight difference between “Do your best.” and “Let’s do our best.” through facial expressions, posture, and behavior, and they react to it. In the end, for it to become “Let’s do our best,” the parent themselves has to be enjoying the challenge, and, if possible, with the nuance of “Come with me,” the child will respond. But if the parent does not move and stays in their seat, the child often shows little or no reaction.
