It's true that my 10 years of SWE experience has become more and more irrelevant because AI can now do most of it, but looking back, my SWE skills were only a small part of being an indie hacker. The most important part is still solving valuable problems and looking for customers. If anything, AI created a whole new class of problems that are now open for people to explore and solve. Indie hackers are problem solvers/entrepreneurs, removing the coding part means removing a lot of friction, and it will enable indie hackers to do 10x more at 10x speed.
