It's incredibly clear reading this that Jacob believes the things he is saying. He is very well regarded amongst the AI research community. His statements have been backed up by various people in industry, including his coworkers at Anthropic. He has way more to lose than he has to gain here. I think we should take the opportunity here to listen and learn rather than assign some ulterior motive to him.
