ZCASH BULLPOST it really does feel like 2017 i’ve been staring at this for a while and i honestly think people are looking at the wrong part of the move. yes zec went from like $40 to $850. obviously insane. look at basically every timeframe. 1 year, month, week, daily. this thing massively repriced and then just refused to give it back. even when it got probably the worst fucking news imaginable for something thats supposed to be sound money. potentially undetectable counterfeit zec. it got absolutely smoked. vulnerability gets fixed. and then it just… goes back to the highs. idk how you look at that and don’t think something crazy is happening here. if this was just another narrative pump i really think that should have killed it. instead the narrative has only gotten stronger. privacy feels like its going to matter A LOT more over the next decade. AI makes surveillance infinitely easier. everything is becoming trackable. everything is becoming connected. and then you have quantum looming in the background. maybe quantum matters in 5 years. maybe 15. who fucking knows. but markets don’t wait until something happens to price it. Zcash is sitting at this really weird intersection of privacy, sound money and post-quantum crypto that i don’t think existed as a coherent narrative even a year ago. then add the actual shit happening underneath it. shielded adoption. tachyon. ETF. institutional money. huge volume. 21m supply. a network thats been around for a decade. and somehow after this entire repricing… ZEC is still only around 1% of bitcoin. thats the part that seems fucking crazy to me. i don’t think zec needs to replace bitcoin. i don’t even think thats the right way to think about it. what happens if the market simply decides private digital money should be worth 2% of transparent digital money? then 3%. then 5%. what happens if it becomes 10%? and what happens if bitcoin itself is repricing higher at the same time? thats how i get to a $10k zec bull case. not TA drawing some stupid line to $10,000. 1% → 10%. thats it. and obviously 10% isn’t consensus. people will laugh at it. but i’ve watched crypto long enough to know that the numbers everyone thinks are completely fucking insane have a weird habit of eventually becoming the numbers everyone anchors to. $20k bitcoin sounded fucking insane too. maybe this doesn’t happen. obviously. but between the chart, how aggressively the market absorbed bad news, the narratives converging at exactly the right time, and the relative valuation to bitcoin… Faders gonna fade Trillions
