In Cali, Colombia, 21-year-old María Camila Potosí, eight months pregnant and days away from becoming a first-time mom, was found stabbed to death with her unborn baby missing. Her body was discovered near the Meléndez River. Her hands and feet were bound, covered in sheets or blankets, showing multiple stab wounds and signs of torture. The baby she was carrying, who the family planned to name Alahia and who was due around mid-August, was not found in her womb. Authorities have said more than four people may have been involved.
